Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my metal cover of the amazing LORD BLAZER theme from Wild Arms 2.

Rhythms:

Style - heavy power chord palm mutes, power chords in general

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here are pretty straight forward especially compared to our insane leads on this arrangement. We begin with some heavy palm muting setting up our verse riff.

Our verse riff uses our pinky finger to do the 6 and 7 on the C string and we flourish it with some added notes on every measure. It's a bit tricky here but if you take it slow, you'll get it!

We then simplify it and go into some straight chuggy gallops on our verse cont.

For our pre-chorus, we take out the other guitar and do some simple 8th palm muted notes while our leads go crazy here.

Finally we have our chorus which is also super straight forward. We're just playing some really fun galloping palm muted power chords here!

Leads:

Style - arppegios, legato

Difficulty - 5/5

Our leads here are no joke! We have some insane parts in here. But we also have some more straight-forward parts for newer players as well!

We begin with a dense amount of layers setting up our intro. Each individual part is super simple here.

We then go into our Intro cont. which is where we bring in the main lead motif and boy is it a shrrddy one. This lead is all about stretching out your fretting hand and nailing the hammer on's and pull offs.

We then go into our first verse where our lead gets super melodic and fun. Nothing terribly challenging here!

Now for our verse cont, we step it up a bit on the harmonies and bring in some fun legato phrasing.

then our pre-chorus, is basically insane. This part will absolutely have to be taken slow and broken into section to learn.

Now for our chorus, we have some really fun harmonized melodies here that are a ton of fun and feature a really tasty sweep+slide lick.

Finally for our solo, we start it off with some really fun barre-phrasing and then descend down a fun bluesy lick. We then go into a melodic slow phrase ending on a major third. For our next section, we do a really fun shreddy alternate picking phrase on the neck pickup and end it with a fancy baroque-style lick. And then we end it with an absolutely insane legato shred lick to wrap it up!

That's about it for these riffs and licks, if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up either on here or on discord!
