Wild Arms 2 "Lord Blazer" - METAL Cover (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the full video for my metal cover of the absolutely epic "Lord Blazer" theme from Wild Arms 2 requested by Pat Vb!
This theme was so much fun to arrange. The original theme has a whole bunch of layers that work together and do a lot of call and response to each other. It was my job to make sure that I keep these beautiful weaving melodies in tact as I add some super-shred to everything and try to crank the whole them up to 11. I did this by doing a TON of cool stuff on the rhythm guitars. The rhythms here are some of the most fun riffs I've done in a while!
Mixing this badboy was super challenging with all of these layers as well! I did a lot of experimentation with reverb and delays to try and give everything a space. I surprisingly don't do this a lot as I don't feel that I normally need to have so much depth in my mixes but for something as dense as this it felt super necessary. It was a really fun time doing some out-of-the-ordinary moves here!
