Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my metal cover of Ducktales "Scrooge's Office" requested by my man Michael St. G!

This theme has so many fun and very straightforward parts to it. It's a perfect theme for newer players to learn some really fun stuff without it being frustrating. But we also have some crazy shreddy parts in here as well for those looking for a challenge. Let's get into it!

Rhythms:

Style - Acoustic, 7th chords

Difficulty - 1/5

Our rhythms here are super straight forward and fun. We start off with some fat power chords and then go into out acoustic verse. The acoustic part is all about letting these open strings ring out and adjusting our fingering to make the different chords around them.

We then go into our heavy riffage. Our heavy pre-chorus rides on that A power chord and we flourish it with some 7th chord tonalities on top. We have a quick little harmonized run in here that will be challenging to new players so take this section slow!

Leads:

Style - chords in the melody, palm muting, melodic

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are super straight forward as well and a ton of fun to play as the melodies are really pretty. We start off with the motif melody on the center lead which is just straight up picking and palm muting. Then we harmonize it and up the ante a little bit with some shreddy bits in there as the left harmony goes up to the higher octave.

Now we have our verse melody which incorporates some cool chords into the mix. It's very straight forward and fun here!

Now we enter our pre-chorus which is our same melody only on a doubled center lead guitar.

Finaly we have our solo which starts off with a shreddy legato lick and resolves in a really fun melodic passage with some note dissonance in there.

Our second half of the solo is a huge tapping lick that will be challenging to those new to tapping but if you take it slow, you'll totally get it! It's a pattern that repeats itself over and over.

That's about it! I hope you enjoy learning some of these riffs and leads. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up on here or on my discord server.

Rock on!

~ Jack
