Hey everyone! Here is the full video for my metal cover of Gundam Wing's "The Wings of a Boy That Killed Adolescence" requested by my man Jon B!

So the initial request for this theme was from the video game Super Robot Wars Z2 which was a game for the PSP based on Gundam Wing so this is STILL TECHNICALLY a video game song.

However, the more research I did on the piece, I realized that this is truly an epic theme from the anime Gundam Wing so I figured I'd just dive into it as an anime cover that is also from a game!

This theme was such a blast to work on, the theme moves through so many different sections and every part just has it's own identity. It gave me a ton of opportunity to experiment with different playing techniques such as harmonizing and having multiple layers for a part. The triplet feel of the piece was also so groovy and made me just jam that extra 10% harder.

Overall I had such a blast with this and I hope you enjoy it as well. Let me know what you think!

Hey everyone! It's time to do an ANIME THEME?!?! Okay so I can explain! I got the request from this song from my man Jon B. and the request was initially from the game Super Robot Wars Z2 which is a video game based on Gundam Wing in Japan. However, I figured it would probably be more recognized as a theme from the anime Gundam Wing so oh well. I guess I do anime now! haha. This theme is such an absolute banger and I had a blast doing this metal arrangement of it. It has a very epic linear progression that takes a lot of twists and turns. It even changes time signatures a few times! I had to really bring out all of my skills to try and keep up with this progressive rock jam. I had a blast working on this theme and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it. Whoa! I didn’t have time to pay attention to this until now, but it’s killer. I love the super funky feel! Why are triplets so damn much fun?
