Hey guys! Here is the completed video for my metal cover of Goldeneye 007's DAM THEME!! This amazing theme was a request by my man Nathan P. Thanks so much Nathan!

Goldeneye's soundtrack is just straight up sick. It's super nostalgic to me as I've dominated that game on 007 mode multiple times when I was younger. The ost is just straight up embedded in my head.

The dam theme in particular is such a banger of a track. It gives off instant metal vibes and that main melody is such a guitar melody without actually being one haha.

I went into the arrangement knowing that I'd be slamming my rhythm guitars out there and just trying to make them as huge as possible in the arrangement / mix. I put on a fresh pair of strings and everything. I love how in the arrangement the rhythms cut in and out and let the melody have its own space occasionally too. This really let me ride up that fader in the mix for the rhythms.

I had such a blast making this and I really want to continue making more Goldeneye songs! I'm going to be reading your guys' comments on what you'd like to see next from the series! There's still so many jams to be metalized from it!

This theme in particular has some extremely heavy nods towards the metal genre even on the original so it really flowed together so well and naturally for me. That main melody line has always just begged to be shredded on guitar!
