Hey guys! It's been a minute but I wanted to say hi and give you guys a update about what I've been chipping away at behind the scenes!

For anyone who missed my update video I posted on my channel, about 2 weeks ago I made the announcement that I'm going to be recording / producing / editing my band Singularity's 3rd album all here in my home studio and I decided that I really needed to put all of my focus on that for the time being and take a quick break from making YouTube videos. It was such a bummer of a realization because I really wanted to do both at the same time and I probably could have pulled it off but with this kind of art that means so much to me, I want to put all of my focus on one thing at a time and make it as great as possible. I felt like my covers wouldn't be as sick as they usually are when I put them out without focusing on another project.

But before I give the update on the album process, I wanted to say thanks so much for literally losing not a single Patreon supporter since this update video came out. I'm not saying I expected a lot of people to leave because I know you guys are true supporters, but literally 0 people left which would be amazing to me even being fully active on my channel.

I'm so grateful that you guys are supporting my music still and are willing to let me go into the shadows for a bit knowing that I will come back as an absolutely recharged beast. YouTube is a hard thing sometimes when you're not constantly producing content. But I consider my Patreon supporters to be my TRUE elite fan base and you guys being here really just reassures me that I can make professional decisions to focus on something important to my music career without too much of a consequence. It means a ton to me. I wish I could personally give all of you guys a bro hug. Maybe in the future when I'm hitting up every city in the world playing music for you guys! :)

So in regards to my band's album, We finished recording all of the drums, MOST of the rhythm guitars (by far the most agonizing part xD) and all of the keyboards. I'm going to Maryland this weekend (5/4-7) to be a part of a Direct Relief charity marathon playing some of my covers on a live stream on Twitch!

When I get back, we're going right into the studio to track vocals for the album on 5/9 through 5/13. After that is bass guitar then my solos and I'm hoping to send everything off to be professionally mixed and mastered by mid may!

I WISH I could provide some samples of our recording and music but weirdly enough, I actually can't because this album is bigger than me or even anyone in my band. I can't elaborate on that much further but all I can say is that I'm super excited for the future of Singularity and how far we've come. We will be making some announcements soon and it's all super exciting!

I'm planning on releasing my comeback ToxicxEternity track in early may, maybe like the 2nd week of it! It's not totally at the end of our recording process but it will be a moment to take a breath and give something to you guys and say thanks for being so patient. I'm also about to hit 50,000 subscribers and I'm going to a huge Q&A on my channel and answer some questions for you guys, considering my last Q&A was at 5,000 subscribers haha.

I hope you guys are all doing well and having a great 2018 so far. This year has been and will continue to be a wild ride for me as I have some more exciting stuff for ToxicxEternity planned after this Singularity album is out. I can't wait to get back to my simplified life of making kick ass video game covers and streaming / hanging with you guys.

Thanks for being awesome!

Oops! I forgot to unsubscribe and stop backing you on Patreon for awhile—thanks for the reminder! ;) ;) Do what you gotta do for the sake of your art and your career, and we'll keep backing. VGM Metal covers or Singularity, they're both your craft: two sides of the same flip coin, and sometimes you will need extra time away from the one side to devote adequate time to the other, especially if you're in a crunch. You explained to us ahead of time what was going down, and I was down with that (and apparently so was everyone else.) Just keep on doing the best you can, recording/mixing/mastering the best music you can, and we'll keep on supporting you in that. 😎👍
