Hey guys! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my cover of Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories' "Free Duel" theme!

We have some super chilled out and relatively simple parts here that are a blast to play! This would be a great choice for players that want something that's not ajshausthjahf hard but still a ton of fun and you can strengthen some fundamental abilities.

Rhythms:

Difficulty - 1/5

Style - Djenty riffs, power chords

Our rhythms kick in with that main riff which is the djenty style riff. It has some fun little up stroke off beat stuff that might be a bit confusing at first but there's definitely a groove in there that you will be able to pick on after starting it slow! This is a super fun part and it's a great exercise for your picking hand!

After that, we devolve the part to a more simplistic, heavy as heck chugging pattern, simply all down strokes and every other one is non-palm muted.

Our chorus riff is some open chords then it plays the same chords in a similar fashion to our first riff only with these new chords.

And that's it!!! Super simple and straight forward but it's totally rockin' and it's a ton of fun! Even if you're a super shredder, these riffs are a ton of fun to play!

Leads:

Difficulty - 1/5

Style - percussive precise melodies

Our main harmonized lead riff is all about getting those ghost mutes (the X's on the tabs) super tight and locked in. It makes the riff feel very sticatto and it's almost like a djenty lead riff?? This might be a bit challenging if you haven't experimented with this type of technical stuff but the notes themselves aren't challenging and the melody is very straight forward and catchy!

When we enter our pre-chorus, we add a new melody on top of it on the center lead that falls down the scale in this 4 note pattern. It's a tad tricky due to the tail ends of the sequence having some off-beat action there. But muscle memory will kick in after a few tries and you'll get it down!

Our chorus riff is an expressive and simple melody that has a beautiful structure to it. Nothing hard but you definitely want to put a lot of feel into a melody like this with vibrato.

We repeat some parts then enter our solo section.

The first lick of the solo utilizes a combination of alternate picking but with some key slides to switch positions. Make sure you're doing the slides!

Right after that, we do a quick little sweep that's pretty tricky due to it being a 5 string sweep and it being a bit rhythmically unorthodox.

Finally we end it with some speedy fast alternate picking. This lick at the end of the solo here is fantastic practice for the picking hand.

After the solo we do a super In Flames-y type harmony that's very simple but sounds super cool.

I hope you guys enjoy learning some of these riffs and licks, if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask me on here or on my Discord server!

Thanks so much and have fun!
