Some misguided comments (Patreon)

After posting the first page of HomeLuz Arc 22, I wanted to share some of the comments received so far.

It's amusing that everyone sees the setup and thinks that one thing will happen (Luz will be a badass) and not suspect the reveal (it's an intro for Hunter). As a writer, you always have to look for what makes sense but is still surprising. A setup to what you think you can predict leading to something else.

Of course, that's not always the case. Especially with a mystery, you have to leave clues in the setup and some people figure it out. That's a good thing; it proves the clues you left made sense. Though, it is annoying that people will then call it "predictable," just because you properly set things up.

Still, I love these kinds of moments. Just wanted to share it with you.
