Just been out with Luna - trying to show some progress before our puppy trainer comes!  

I love the church at night

Ramon Mestre i Mestre who built our house Can Punxes made his fortune in Cuba before he returned to his ancestral home of Sant Pere de Ribes at the beginning of the 20th century  (which at the time was just a small village so it was quite amazing for people to see him and others return and build these wonderful houses).

But he was out-trumped by just one other person in the village - Francesc Marcer who made such a large fortune he was able to pay for an entire new church of Sant Pere which is opposite our house..  

The first of these bell towers was finished in 1909 and the church was completed in 1910, one year before the completion of Can Punxes.

I think the towers are magical.
