Hi everybody! Here are the results for the our Vote #6 and it looks like Stalker tops the list! It has been brought to my attention that I... screwed up. There were two Stalkers and two Grand Budapest Hotels on the list, so it is possible that people voted for Stalker twice. Regardless, one of the Stalkers still got the most votes. Here is the breakdown:

Now here is where things get a bit awkward. The plan is to do a CinemaTyler Show episode on the top five movie suggestions and Apocalypse Now is on that list. Well, I have some slightly bad news and some great news-- I won't be doing a CinemaTyler Show episode on Apocalypse Now because I've spent the past year researching Apocalypse Now for a huge series similar to 'How Kubrick Made 2001: A Space Odyssey'! I'm just about ready to start writing (there are a couple more sources I want to take notes on). As of now, I have about 83 pages of notes.

So... I'm going to sub-in the next movie on the list, which is Lawrence of Arabia.

Thanks so much for participating and thanks so much for your continued support!

I'm excited too! Stalker was the movie that got me into Tarkovsky. I remember flipping through one of the 1001 must-see-movies books and the image for Stalker always stuck out to me.
