Axu2, the Ironfruit Update Teasers (Patreon)

This is a collection of teasers for the Axugaem2 Ironfruit Update, originally released January 17th, 2021. The original descriptions for each individual teaser are below.

Lamel:
This one's a bit different from the other teasers this time around because I didn't create it specifically for Axu2, but more generally as a much-needed update to the character, which was in part spurred by his recent VTubing shenanigans. That said, Lamel will feature prominently in the coming update, so you'll be seeing bits of this reference throughout the game going forward! Lamel's a melkai painter who lives in the remote Frigid Isles and is popular within the Central Imperium fine art scene. He is most well-known for his 'Blue' series of paintings, which is also his only series of paintings. In fact, he notoriously only paints in blue. He may or may not also eat people...

Tum Drummer:
Tam'Ra "Carrie" Stone (not pictured) has had a visible impact on the culture of her people, the Elvish Remnants/Husks, despite her relatively late arrival in their history. Carrie's incomparable gluttony became infamous as the warrior woman reached maturity, so much so that she threatened her home's entire food supply. She was eventually banished from the Isle of the Ancestors, birthplace of all husks, but her bold vigour had already begun to inspire others of her kind to turn such talents toward more measured and practical ends...

Greater Lash Plant:
Greater lash plants are rare and found only in Imperium's jungle regions: Ironfruit, Lamnar, and occasionally on South Sea islands. They are recognized as intelligent and crafty hunters by plant standards, and will assault most other beings they encounter. Though they show no sense of leadership or community in the wild, recent attempts to domesticate and breed these more intelligent lash plants have shown unexpected promise...

Euvine:
I figured a character card was a worthy final teaser here because Euvine herself will appear in the coming update.... under certain specific circumstances. As Elemental Lady of Nature, she's quite busy, but will always make time for those who are part of her extended 'family,' elemental or otherwise. Apparently she's quite sweet and genuine. ...Though it really doesn't stop her entire sect from giving off vaguely cult-esque vibes.
