Dear Patrons,

Thank you to everyone who voted in the latest poll! Italy 1796 was the runaway winner, and the series will go into production in a few months. (All the other options will be offered again in future, but there will be some non-Napoleonic stuff in between.)

There's also another vote coming up on a Napoleonic 'one-off' topic, so stay tuned for more info in the next few weeks.

And finally, some '1848: Year of Revolutions' sneak peeks for you. This is a one-off video - a whirlwind narrative overview of one of the most dramatic years in European history. Hoping to get this to you around 3 Aug.

Thank you all again for your votes and for your support! I'll be back with more updates soon.

I hope one of the one-off Napoleon voting topics is the Plot of the rue Saint-Nicaise, or the machine infernale plot. Similar continuity with the Decembrists story. Lord know how many times the British tried to get Napoleon assassinated.

Operation Valkyrie in august 1944 would be a cool topic as well. I don’t know maybe covering attempted coups and assassinations could be a successful series

It would be difficult to illustrate one specific plot in any detail, but the assassination plots in general could be very good. Don't forget to mention when the debate opens!
