Dear Patrons, 

I am very pleased to share the second part of The Decembrists series - 'Revolt Against the Tsar'. This is a 30 minute video, packed with all the events of the Decembrist uprising in St.Petersburg and Ukraine, as well as the aftermath and contested legacy of the revolt. I hope you enjoy it (though it ends up a pretty sad tale). 

Stay tuned for the credits, where I got to fulfil a lifelong desire to do one of those cool montages, where you get to see the actor alongside the real person (or in this case, Milek's artwork alongside the archive on which it was based.)

Typos for Merch is in effect (but doesn't include the extra space in the Nicholas quote, which I've already fixed) - first person to spot one gets any item from the store in thanks.

Next up - 1848: Year of Revolutions (which is going to be a shorter one-off video, more of a dramatic, sweeping overview).
