My two-part video collaboration with Simple History is out now, telling the tale of the first two successful circumnavigations of the world - one led by Portugal's Ferdinand Magellan, and the other by the English...hmm... pirate? Francis Drake.

For those who like strict chronology you may want to watch the Magellan episode on the Simple History channel first - (but they work in either order) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylwiOLab5AA

Thank you for all your support and for making these videos possible, I hope you enjoy them and let me know what you think! I've already begun reading up on Napoleon for the next series, and am also keeping an eye on the open poll... so remember to keep voting for ideas you like on that post.

Cheers and have a great weekend,

Toby

Liked the subject and the narration, however the characters were too "cartoony".

Thanks for the feedback Fahad, useful to know. I'll be returning to something more like the usual style for the next series.
