Next show to watch recommendations (Patreon)

Hi friends!

As we can tell by the schedule, I will be finishing up Star Wars Rebels next week!

I will immediately be picking up Mando Season 2 but wanted to post here to see if there are any popular recommendations of a third show I can add into the mix.

This has been difficult for me to research because I feel like most shows on my list are hour long episodes. The way I see it I can either decrease the amount of uploads a week and do 3 hour long episode shows (Mando, Daredevil and whatever the third rec would be) OR I can keep the uploads and add in a third shorter show. (A show with 20-40min episodes not anime.) Since I edit all my own videos besides movies & can’t afford my editor for more, these are the two options I have.

So my question is this — do you prefer

A) less uploads a week, 2-3 hour long shows in a rotation (comment the rec)

B) same amount of uploads, another short episode length show (comment the rec)

So far the only idea I have is The Sandman. It’s not perfect as I know some episodes are longer but I should be able to manage it! It also seems like such an interesting show!

I'm gonna third the Firefly recommendation. It's an absolute delight of a series, and the comedy and action is right up your alley. It holds up beautifully for its age, and the dated cgi is actually kind of endearing and nostalgic imho. The ONLY con is that you are going to be sad once it's over, trust. I've not seen a single negative response to the series from the literal dozens of content creators who have reacted to it that I have watched.

I would recommend Agents of Shield. Yes it’s long and no longer canon but it’s fantastic and not enough people have reacted to it.

Not sure about show. Can't wait to see your reaction to Mando and the upcoming Ahsoka series. I was going to suggest possibly starting on the sequel trilogy of Star Wars (episodes 7, 8, and 9). Trust me. You won't get spoilers in them before watching what you have left to watch.

I’d say either pick up Jessica Jones or start Visions S1 since it’s not canon and won’t interrupt your Star Wars in chronological order watch through. Or start sum completely new, I’d recommend Peaky Blinders or 3%.

Ted Lasso S1: 10 episodes. S2-3: 12 episodes ea. To answer your question, A or B, both lol… adjust your schedule based on the show you choose. No preference on how you managed the uploads, more so on the show. That said, for a change of pace vs sci-fi/comic book shows, how about Ted Lasso? Fun, funny, heart, excellent writing and characters. S1 episodes are 30 min then half way thru S2 they creep up to 45 min with S3 closer to 60 min.
