Hope you decide to watch the other netflix marvel series aswell, they all connect with eachother somewhat and there is a proper order to watch them in just like with the mcu

i absolutely love this episode, its great at balancing exposition showing off his abilities, with a compelling suspenseful story on Matt's side, and a wholesome but also a little sad on Foggy and Karen's side. but the best thing is the hallway scene at the end, its a true oneshot btw, they had planned moments to do cuts if they needed to but on their last attempt at doing it all in 1 go they nailed it. such a fantastic scene, after watching it so many times i can now see the clever moments where Charlie Cox swaps out with a stunt man but even so they all did an amazing job. the "hallway scene" is now pretty famous and people even say things like "its this show's hallway scene" when talking about big long shot fights in other shows. and yea, its sad what happened with his dad, especially since Matt likely felt like it was his fault for trying to influence his dad to win. yet another layer of guilt he lives with. great reaction as always, i hope you enjoy this show enough to watch the rest of the seasons and other shows in the defenderverse (a couple are pretty mandatory for s3 of daredevil)
