here is my timed reaction to doctor who season 2 episode 10 "love & monsters"

this episode had such a different feel, i was SO uncomfortable with jackie LMAO and it had a great ending!

This is by far THE worst episode of DW in my opinion (which is not a hot take). The absorbaloff villain was created by a 9 year old in a write-in competition. So that gives some explanation. The bj joke at the end is WILD and the fact that the doctor would subject a woman to life in that physical form is…idk what the writers were thinking. I haven’t finished your reaction yet but I can’t help but feel bad for what you’re about to witness (even though it’s in the past). I always skip this episode but I need to see your reaction so I'm sticking with you. God speed.

I love this episode, in almost it's entirety. It deserves the bad rap it gets, cuz it's clearly not for everyone. The more people dump on it, the more I love it. The point is to not confuse personal taste with other discernible measures, when we label something as categorically bad. This is brilliant in quite a number of areas. The tone and questionable taste is what it is. Will this go down as majority favourite.... Of course not. But I saw you, and have seen a few others, appreciate a whole lot of it for various reasons. And that's enough for me.

It's actually not that bad. It's an interesting take on the carnage that the Doctor leaves in his wake and sheds light on Jackie, expanidng her character. It's by no means perfect, but it isn't the WORST episode lol. I've grown to love it for what it is.
