At the start when you were talking about young Ian being taken away in the last episode, you called him "Wee Ian." I love that. The part with the horseshoe, Jamie tells Claire to touch it for good luck, you said "When your on the seas man, superstition is God." Later when Claire is talking to the captain he tells her that her presence on the ship is ill luck and that she should be bare breasted. He said "A woman's bare breasts calm am angry sea." He said that the figurehead at the bow of the ship bares her breasts and prevents them from being subjected to any curses. I never realized it had any meaning, they then talk about the horseshoe, Claire asks him if he thinks touching a piece of iron will help bring the men better luck, he said "I would rather have them make their luck than give up all hope." He told her it doesn't matter whether he believes it or not, the men believe it. Claire said "Believing something doesn't make it real." He said "On this ship, it does." You said "We live in a world full of superstitions, and so many different types of superstitions." All the superstitions we have today, a broken mirror is 7 years bad luck, walking under a ladder is considered bad luck, so before the ladder was ever invented that bad luck never existed in the world. It really does come down to what you are willing to believe. I know that in Scotland, Japan, and other parts of the world that a black cat crossing in front of you is considered good luck, while in America I think it's still considered bad luck. I can't believe Fergus married that girl, Marsali, what is it wtih Jamie, Fergus and that family. I loved the part when Claire opens that chest and sees the clothes she had from her time in Paris, she asks "You kept them!' Why didn't you sell them all?" Jamie says "Sell them? Memories of you? Never." And then later with Mr Willoughby and the acupuncture, Claire asks "So this is what cured your seasickness. And not the tea that I've been making twice a day for three weeks? Why didn't you tell me?" He said "I didn't want to hurt your feelings." That was so sweet, he probably thought that maybe with her feeling like she's helping him that maybe they could reconnect, grow closer maybe. She said he looked like a pincushion. I loved that scene with Mr Willoughby when he tells everyone his story, to save time, to help save a mans life. "I was born yi tien Cho in Guangzhou, the city of rams. I was found early to have skill in composition to make the images of my brush resemble the ideas that dance like cranes within my mind. I became known as the fung-wong, a bird of fire. My poetry came before the eyes of wan-Mei, the emperor's second wife. She asked that I join her household in pekin, the imperial city. It was a great honor, my name inscribed in the book of merit. But there is a condition. All servants of the royal wives must be eunuchs. It was most dishonourable to refuse the emperor's gift. It was a death sentence. And yet, I had fallen in love with woman. Not a woman. All women. Their beauty blooming like lotus flowers, the taste of their breasts like apricots, the scent of a navel in the winter, the warmth of a mound that fills your hand like ripe peach... I fled on the night of the lanterns. As the fireworks shot from the palace roof, I left my house and came to a place where the golden words of my poems are taken as the clucking of hens, and my brush strokes for their scratchings. For the love of woman, I am come to a place where no woman is worthy of love. To a place where women are coarse and rank as bears, creatures of no grace, and these women disdain me as a yellow worm so that even the lowest of whores will not lie with me? By not surrendering my manhood, I have lost all else. Honour, livelihood, country. Sometimes, I think, not worth it." He then walks over to the side of the ship, he climbs up on the side and throws his poems into the air and the wind catches them. What a beautiful scene, you said it was a beautiful story, and sad at the same time. Claire and Jamie ask him how did he know about the wind, he tells them that when birds fly high it means that the air is light. Dry, no rain. And when they fly low it means that the air is heavy. You said things like this are incredible, you said you were going to memorize it, just in case. I love that. Later when we see Jamie and Claire alone together you said "Aww" You said you always say that when they are together, I love that you do, it always makes me smile, I love how much you care for them. When he's talking to her about her hair, he says "I like the grey. The way the light hits it. Like a piece of silver moonlight." Claire says "Oh, how could I not love a man who says such things? If you were to say that in the 20th century, you'd be the king of all men." You said "That's something, that's just so beautiful about the story, all this shit goes on all around them, all the time, but their love is stable, and that's just what love should be, cause life is unstable, but we can be stable together." That was beautiful, at the end of the video you talked about love and how beautiful this series is. You talked about relationships and how beautiful it is when you know when someone loves you. Honesty, I wish I knew. I don't know what if feels like when another person loves you. I've never heard the words I Love You before. I've never even said them myself. This is why I want Jamie and Claire to be together so much, I know that they are only fictional characters, but maybe they can have what I never will. As always, it's been a pleasure watching with you Imon. You're beautiful always. <3

Tara

Hi Imon, Yes, her name is pronounced like Katrina. She is Irish. It’s actually interesting because she does understand Gaelic and most of the actors don’t. In real life, she speaks with an Irish accent. The actor who plays Lord John Grey is Australian speaking with an English accent and the actress playing Brianna is English speaking with an American accent. There is a scene coming up where there is a flashback to her and Frank and she speaks with a English accent pretending to be someone and that is just how she speaks. Lesley and Hayes are the two men who you dubbed the second Angus and Rupert and I remember feeling the same way, but in my opinion, they are the poor man’s Angus and Rupert! I also love the scene of Jamie telling Claire that he likes the grey in her hair like silver moonlight. Of course Jamie would be the king of all men.
