I was late getting to this episode tonight, I couldn't wait to see Jamie and Claire back together again. I love going into these blind, I never know what's gonna happen. Some of the stuff I've watched with you I've seen, but I love to wait for your reaction video first and then watch these with you for the first time. I love what you said about how realistic the episode was, the way Jamie and Claire were with each other, the awkwardness. Jamie is holding Claire's hand and he says "I want... I would very much like to kiss you. May I? "Yes" She says, he then tells her he hasn't done this in a very long time. My heart would be racing, I would just want to hold her in my arms, pull her in close and just take a moment to look at her, I mean really look at her. I'd remember everything, the first time I ever saw her, the moment I first fell in love with her, the way she makes me feel. I'd never want to let her go again. I love what you said when Jamie went to get some clean trousers he asks Claire to come with him and you said "You wouldn't want to be separate from your partner after being seperated for 20 years, we'd go to the bathroom together, the shower, the kitchen, the bath, the bedroom. You said Claire needs to be on Jamie's back, or he needs a little pocket that fits Claire. I love that. You were so happy to see Jamie and Claire together again, you said your heart was very happy, that made me smile. Then you said it was very hot in your room, you that there's so many emotions you can't breathe. You said you wish you could just pour that bottle of water on yourself. Damn Imon, that would have been very sexy. Everytime I see you grab a bottle of water now I'll be thinking, this is it. I love when Claire shows Jamie pictures of his daughter, I love how he doesn't know what photos are and Claire tells him how they're made and how a camera works. He then puts on his glasses, he says "For years, I had the eyes of a hawk, but my sight is not what it once was." Claire tells him he looks as dashing as ever. She said they've both seen a few years and all that goes with it. She tells him how she dyed her hair, that she wanted to look the same as when he last saw her. He tells her "Time doesn't matter Sassenach. You will always be beautiful to me." I love the part when he sees Brianna in a bikini and he says "Christ. Don't tell me she goes swimming in that... That rigging and with a lad?" The way you laughed, I love how you laugh Imon, you really are beautiful. You said, "He's a dad, he's a dad." I love what Claire said "We began to know each other again, and discover whether we were, in fact, the same two who had once existed as one... And whether we might be one again." When they undress each other, its so delicate, the way they look into each others eyes, that look they both have, all they want is each other, nothing more. When he sees her naked he tells her she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. She asks him if he remembers their wedding night. How scared they both were and how Jamie held her hands and said it would be easier if they touch. He says "Aye, when we were wed, I saw ye standing there, so bonny in your white shift. I couldn't think of anything, but when I could have you alone, naked, next to me." She asks if he wants her now, he says "Oh, god, yes." I love in the morning when he watches her sleep, to see the woman you love every morning, to wake up next to her, to see her smile. That must be a great way to start the day, to feel like anything is possible. I love the way they look at each other as he leaves the room. It feels like it's been a whole season that they've been apart, I'm just glad they're finally back together. I loved watching this with you tonight, you always make me smile Imon. You're beautiful, always. <3

Fun fact: The set of Jamie’s print shop is actually the French Apothecary shop from S2 that they refurbished. Fun fact #2: Sam wanted it to look authentic when he was working on the press, so he got training on how to use it and actually printed a lot of the pages that were hanging to dry. I love that the camera was on him when he heard her voice and the look on his face as he hears something familiar and then the realization on his face and in his eyes when he knows that she’s real. That first kiss was so beautiful with that one tear on Claire’s cheek. And the fact that he asked her if he could kiss her. When he brought her to the brothel, it was so obvious that Madam Jean was jealous when he introduced Claire as his wife. It’s clear that she wants Jamie for herself. (Sorry - he’s taken!) Imon, you mentioned it also, but I thought they did a great job of having them undress each other slowly, the way they looked at each other and the clumsiness was perfect. These two actors have such great chemistry together. I’m not sure of any other fictional characters with this much chemistry. I never thought of Jamie as a poet, but you are absolutely right. It was all so beautiful and I also loved him watching her in the morning telling her he’s seeing how she is the same and how she’s changed; asking if she remembered the name he called her “Mo Nighean Donn” for my brown haired lass. It was good that they spent the majority of the episode with them reconnecting. One thing that I really appreciate about this show is continuity. On other shows someone might get injured and we’d see the wound for the rest of the episode and maybe the next and then it would be gone. Aside from Jamie’s back, we can still see the scar on his upper shoulder from when he got shot in the first episode when he fell off his horse, the scar from the brand below his ribs, when she had to stitch up his side when he got pulled into a sword fight thanks to the Duke and if we look closely when he was eating and undressing Claire, we can see scars along his fingers from when Claire put his fingers back together and where his palm was nailed. That takes a lot of work by the makeup team and I appreciate it. Also adding a touch of makeup to make them look older.
