Fergus is 11 in season 2 so almost the same age as your son, yes… :/ This was such a strong episode and i adore your insight as always. These videos for real make my week thank you so so much Imon ❤️

You were wondering about the name of this episode, Prestonpans, I'm Scottish and even I had to read it a few time's. I looked it up, its a small mining town east of Edinburgh its near the site of the 1745 battle of Prestonpans. You said you overthink thing's sometimes, or most of the time, my brother says I'm always in my head, so I know what you mean. Dougal, he's one of those characters that despite the questionable things he does, we somehow justify it, and give him a pass. That scene with the injured soldier, it must be strange to help someone one day and then go back to trying to kill them the next. But the soldier wasn't a threat to him, what Dougal did was murder, that bloodlust he has will be his undoing. Fergus, he's seen and experienced more pain than most people ever will, after taking his first life you could see what little innocence he had left was gone. You could see how hurt Claire was, its a shame he's had to grow up so fast. We were almost done with the episode and I though everyone was gonna be ok and then we lost Angus, to lose one of the main cast has me thinking who else might not make it to the end of the season. I love how Claire was teaching the women how to help save lives, the knowledge that she has is so far ahead of the time, their only limitation is access to equipment that doesn't exist yet, without her there things would be very different. I know Jamie will fight hard to win this war, but without Claire there, without the love he has for her, the will he has to protect her, to keep her safe, without all that, what else could drive a man to give so much, to fight with all he has, it can only be love. As always Imon its a pleasure watching with you, I can't believe season two is almost over, I will see you in the next episode. <3
