If you're looking for another underappreciated and thoughtful anime to watch after season two wraps up I would suggest Monster. The whole series is on Netflix now. As for this episode, I love the way it is split between Thorfinn and Canute. You get to feel the weight of both journeys and see hints at what they have planned for the future. And I love how you talked about the gospel and then they put in a bit of the bible. Vinland Saga definitely doesn't shy away from spirituality.

Dune

Him wanting astrid to refer to him as king shows family doesn't mean much him to him anymore. At this point I'm sure everyone is a possible enemy to him but is sad though. A lot of people in power tend to think violence is the quickest or only solution to a problem. Like I wouldn't be surprised if canute ends up being a dictator instead of a true king.
