where do you buy your shirts? i NEED them

Daniel

so in one of the past episodes the doctor makes a comment to All For One about how if only they had got the regeneration quirk sooner so I'm guessing after his fight with All Might that doctor somehow kept him on the brink of death long enough for him to get the regenerating quirk but unlike the nomu or say wolverine it takes time which would explain why most of his body looks like it's never been injuered but his face looks almost like a burn because it's the flesh an tissue slowly reforming

Csel

No Inuyasha crush?

You are so lucky 🍀 you don’t have to wait months to start season 3

As you've probably been told you can skip the first episode of season 3 because it's "mainly" a recap episode but their is still some entertainment value laced within it. To the point about Shigaraki's motivation, he hates how everyone is going around as if there is justice in the world. They think no one would do anything terrible despite the fact that many of them probably have dangerous quirks. Something in his life has caused him to believe that the way people live is flawed and that people are in denial of the danger all around them. Before he didn't really know what the source of the "delusion" was and he thought that All Might was just another byproduct of that delusion. However, now he realizes that All Might is the source/beacon of people's hope and what he views as a false sense of justice. I believe his rationale is something like "How can the world be just if innocent people can be murdered without repercussions? How can people smile so thoughtlessly when there are someone could be in danger right now?" This could also stem back to his own quirk and how destructive it is. As he said in the episode it only take him placing all of his fingers on something to decay it. What if he can't turn it off and on? If you go back to the episode where he showed Izuku's picture to Stain the way he's hold it is kind of awkward as if he isn't try to use all of his fingers. How does a 7 year old with his abilities do anything without destroying it? It might have even made difficult for him to interact with his own family. Again, this is all speculation. I don't know his backstory so please don't think this a spoiler it was just something I thought when I first watched the episode.

From what we've seen so far shigaraki's entire purpose seems to be revolving around this idea of "What is justice?" If you remember back to season 1 when they attacked, he attempted to justify Nomu attacking bakugo by claiming he did so to save his friend (bakugo was pinning down warp gate guy so Nomu attacked). He then went on a rant about how come a "hero" can commit violent crimes and be called "hero" but if he does it he's a villain. It was kind of kicked to the curb after that but I feel like it might be a little deeper. My thoughts on the severed hand is that maybe all might was the one that committed a violent act to save someone else or at the very least he failed as a hero. This episode the cop said "he's never failed to save someone when he arrived" all might's face seemed to disagree with that statement. If Shigaraki witnessed this at a young age, in his eyes he would hate all might and hate a society that worships a person like him. At the end of this episode I think his conviction became "Ill show the world how flawed and broken this idea of justice is". I think he wants to completely break this super hero society. Sorry for the rant, great reaction. Hype for season 3!

i read the manga, the backstory of shigaraki will be revealed in the first 13 episodes of season 3, also the reason he has conviction now is because he can say he has a goal but before he was just i'll kill all might because he is trash but now is like i'll kill all might because his justice is fake and fragile and villains are more likely to follow the later statement than the first one this show is and will be making several cases of villains who are extremely evil and ones who are forced to be evil because this is an age of suppression as per gran torino when he was talking to all might about stain this isn't your average show where it is black and white all the time, sometimes you will actually root for the "villain" and not Deku

Bingbong

The irony of your comment is that from their point of view they will soon be feeling *unlucky* since they will have to wait a full week between episodes.

Bingbong

Daniel Not quite. What the doctor actually said was something like "if only we had gotten Super Regeneration before your wounds healed. At that point it was just a pointless quirk". This means that Super Regeneration only fixes open wounds, and does not return scarred tissue to its original state. In fact, we know All for One did not keep Super Regeneration, since he gave that quirk to the first Nomu.

We had episode 12 of season 1, then episode 10 of season 2. Now we wait for episode 4 of season 3 😂. Also the thing (I think) with Shigiraki is that unlike Stain, he thinks All Might is a fake because of he is always smiling as if he does save everyone and it’s almost ignorant and mockery of those he couldn’t save. Really interesting dynamic and you’ll see after this Shigiraki becomes a pretty interesting character.

Daniel Gonzalez

I've been waiting for this episode I love how invested you get in the show seeing your concerned faces in the thumbnail but also despite the scene their concern for each other is another reason why it's probably my favorite ship and deku has earned it also congrats on completing season 2 I just know you're gonna love season 3

Great reaction as always. Can't wait for season 3! Next anime show should be Erased! I bet you'll both enjoy that one.

Okay, possible maybe SPOILER. It's my guess, but the theory makes sense. I think that All For One defeated All Might's teacher, and of course, All Might eventually fought All For One and defeated him. All Might couldn't believe All For One survived, leading me to think that All Might meant to kill him with full force. I think that is when All Might got hurt too, which shows All For One's strength. Seeing how strong All Might is even when wounded against Nomu, their fight must have been devastating: not only to each other, but the environment around them. What if Tomura Shigaraki and his loved ones were in the collateral? Shigaraki said something like, "when villains hurt people they are evil, but when Heroes hurt people they are praised." What if All Might was so angry about the loss of his teacher, All Might went all out and ended up accidentally killing innocent people. All For One survived the fight obviously, and possibly found Shigaraki in the wreckage and took him in. Or Shigaraki saved All For One and that is why All For One seems so intent on helping Shigaraki reach his goals. Shigaraki wants to kill All Might because in that one fight, All Might lost his hero conviction and hurt shigaraki and others, yet is still praised as the number one hero. Again, this is a theory, but I'm locking my guess in early.

Bingbong

This is an interesting idea, but I think you may be focusing too much on All Might the person rather than All Might the symbol. I never get the feeling that Shigaraki's issue with All Might is personal. Even the fact that Shigaraki calls him "End Boss" shows that Shigaraki views All Might as part of something larger which he is trying to destroy. Besides, you have to keep in mind that when all is said and done Shigaraki's ultimate enemy will be Deku. But since Deku can't be blamed for All Might's personal mistakes, the story wouldn't work so well if that was Shigaraki's ultimate motivation. Instead, it makes more sense for Shigaraki's motives to be about the Symbol of Peace itself, since that is what Deku is really being asked to inherit.
