No worries! Also the purpose of the gauntlets is to let Bakugo use his full power without straining himself. He CAN use that power without the gauntlets but it causes a lot of pain. Great reaction as per usual and poor Deku, he got tossed around so much this episode 😂

Bakugou only feels pain when he uses giant blasts continuously. He was using the same amount of power as when he blew away Uraraka’s rock shower. His gauntlets does not nullify or make the shock easier to take; they store his sweat to mimic the giant blasts instead of him actually having to use them. Also great reaction series! You two are the best reactors and I enjoy the content so much! I can’t wait for you guys to react to season 3

Only the really big blasts hurt Bakugo. He uses the gauntlets to produce the large blasts to get around his limitations and not hurt himself. The "normal" sized ones don't hurt him.

Also, Aizawa def let Momo win in the end, he wanted her to regain confidence in herself. Recovery Girl even reinforces that idea when she calls Eraser Head a softy

no, he didn't have the gauntlets in the festival. But it only hurts him when he does the large blasts. The small ones are okay.

I would've thought Aizawa was the least likely to go easy on the students and All Might the most likely, but I think it turned out the other way around. Love your guys' reactions, childlike wonder and honest emotions make you guys one of my fave reactors. Keep up the great work!

Lol btw not everyone likes Bakugo i cant stand him personally i get the whole being praised blah blah blah backstory hes just been painted as such a asshole that i feel nothing for him. From his beating the shit out of Deku and telling him to die to even when they where kids treating him like shit is bs at some point the dude needs to grow up but i do respect the fact that he is a good fighter and crazy smart some could say hes a mary sue.

To me this seemed like an origin story in that it sort of tells us why Bakugo acts the way he is. Like all the other kids he idolized All Might as the best of the best, and he was also the strongest in his crew. Combined with an awesome Quirk and his peers (especially Midoriya) constantly praising him, he let it get to his head and became arrogant, but the type of arrogant where he could absolutely back it up against most people. He sees Midoriya as pathetic because he would just constantly follow him around and fawn over him & all the other heroes rather than try to develop his own strength. In a lot of ways he's similar to Vegeta since they both have that pride of wanting to do things their own way without anyone's help to the point where they will distance themselves from others or turn away any form of assistance. It's a character trait that I hate & why I don't like either characters, but both are incredibly gifted fighters and tacticians so they make it work.

As crazy as it sounds I don't think they'll make Bakugo a villain though. He's almost comically antagonistic to the other students and there's no way they could make it seem like a dramatic surprise because he's been like that since the first episode.

Its also kind of crazy that Bakugou being one of the strongest is also the third smartest in the class academically behind Iida and Momo. He really does try to "win" in every aspect of life.

Recovery girl mentions that aizawa is too soft after his match with momo, I think he did go easy on them

His Quirk isn't always hurting Bakugo, just when he pulls these big ass blasts. Thats what he has the gauntlets for: he can store his sweat so he can do these explosions after some time without hurting his body. (:

A Mary Sue? Do you even know what that means? In just the second episode he was taken by that sludge villain and had to be saved. He lost the match to Deku in the VERY FIRST training exercise they ever did at UA. One of the many factors of a Mary Sue is that they always win in bs ways. Just because he’s talented doesn’t make him a Mary Sue. Their are talented, smart people in real life too you know

I agree with everything, but I LOVE these characters (both Vegeta and Bakugou), don't ask me why., I don't even know. lol And I think this episode serves as origin story of the hero Bakugou will be in the future. Kind of like the Toroki origin story. Since in the first episode of this season we see Deku in the future thinking about everyone that helped him become what he is, Bakugou and Todoriki is shown, so I think that it's their starting point to that. Sorry for saying all this in you comment. lol

I hope the series lasts as long as Naruto did. Since I read the manga I know there's quite a bit of verrryyyy "interesting" stuff that will happen. Can't wait to see those episodes and your reactions. ;D

John Freeman Your assessment of how Bakugo sees Midoriya is incorrect. I won't say what his actual view is, since the story will make the issue much clearer later on (in manga material not yet in the anime), but I'll point out that I've seen people who love Bakugo pretty much guess the gist of it correctly after seeing this episode. Ultimately, if all you see in Bakugo is a bully, that is due to confirmation bias, which prevents you from seeing the hints as to his deeper character for what they are (and I don't actually mean this as a criticism, since it is extremely hard to focus on all characters at once).

In Aizawa's case, Recovery Girl did say he was a softy, in my opinion, what he told Momo was just bullcrap
