GW358 J1 League Predicted Lineup Report (Patreon)
Content
Intro
There is only 1 game this upcoming GW and its the Friday night clash of Kashiwa vs Urawa.
Although not confirmed yet, I expect this to be streamed on the Youtube International channel.
Predicted Lineups
These can also be found on Playsharper website here
Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.
I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.
These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks!
Kashiwa vs Urawa
Notes
- Katayama went off injured on the weekend. There is no info on him yet and he is doubtful for the league game on Friday.
- Hosoya and Sasaki were on international duty with the U21s in Europe. With travel & time difference, I see them being on the bench here.
- Jay-Roy Grot scored twice in the league cup game with Savio assisting and impressing
- I see Savio inline to start again. Kashiwa have been shifting formation so depending on if they go for 3 or 2 upfront, I also see it being a coin toss between Muto and Yamada starting.
Notes
- New signing Kante has yet to be in a squad or have any minutes. As such, I see him being on the bench at best here
- Linssen scored in the league cup and is pushing for a start. Koroki has played better/suited the system more however the manager may change things. Once Kante is ready he will be the starting striker and Linssens role is still up in the air
- Ogiwara is ahead of Ohata and challenging Akimoto as left back
Odds
Prediction
Kashiwa have yet to win in 7 league and cup games this season. Though there performance improved against Hiroshima, there fragilities were easy to see when they blew a 2 goal lead against Fukuoka in the 3-3 league cup draw.
Urawa have been steady but lacking the killer instinct. I see the battle between Grot and Scholz being key in this game. Overall, I see Urawa winning in a close game
Kashiwa 1 - 2 Urawa
Finish
I hope found this useful!
As always these are just my own views on the situation based on research for each team.
This is the only asia game this GW and there are only limited rewards available. There are only a handful of games in total this GW. I am personally targeting All Star as I am able to put a full team and the prize pool there appeals more to me more than Asia.
I will be updating the Discord Channel with any info I see that could prove useful all the way to deadline, so keep a look out for that
We also have a friendly game tonight! Japan are hosting Colombia
If you have any feedback or queries, just give me a shout on Discord
Good luck and enjoy the game :)
