Calendar Planning and J League Prep (Patreon)
Content
The World Cup is over and though it was amazing, I am very happy to see the "normal" calendar start to return. We also recently got the start dates for several leagues including the J league!
One of the most important areas on Sorare to get an edge both for trading and SO5 is planning in advance.
I have spoken about this before in the below article:
https://www.soraretactics.com/post/sorare-scouting-calendar-planning-patreon-post
And I also attach the dates of leagues starting or restarting soon.
I use the below site a lot to get a feel of the best teams especially in leagues I dont know and also to understand general betting/CS odds

We also have international games starting up again in March with the European Cup Qualifications. These in particular, I have found to be very good when you plan and buy in advance as you can get some very easy games for teams eg vs San Marino
I will do a more detailed post looking at specific players on this in the next week or so.
J1 League
We are only 7 weeks from the league starting! Moving into January we will see teams start their preseason training camps which will give more hints on the likely starting lineups at the start of the season.
I plan to do posts on:
- Predicted strongest lineup and squad depth for each team
- Analysis on the impact on the most important new signings
- Young/U23 players
- Promoted team analysis
- Predicted end of season table
Alongside this, I will continue to update the Goalkeeper and Def spreadsheet. I still expect some more signings (eg Santana!) but overall expect things to calm down significantly.
In the two past off seasons I have played Sorare, the J1 league market really starts to come to life from January with the last week before the seasons starts seeing a big spike (Feb 13th this season) as there is a degree of fomo. Of course there is no guarantee this to continue and it will vary by player but I am confident the general trend will continue.
My personal approach is to make sure I have the core players I want for SO5 and to sell what players I don't need or think are overhyped
