Development Blog - August 15th, 2020 (Patreon)

Heyo, how are y'all doing? I just wanna take a moment to thank you all who enjoyed my new visual novel and decided to continue to support me. It warms my heart to know y'all like my work <3

Anywho, let's jump right into this month's development progress!

Writing Progress:

So far, the script for update 0.1.2 is about 33 pages long! There are still quite a few scenes I need to finish writing before it is ready for release. I predict that this update will be around 40 pages when it's done, almost double the size of last month's update! It'll probably take another update or two before Chapter 1 is complete! Chapter 1 is pretty quick-paced in order to introduce the world-building, the main conflict, and all that good jazz. Things will slow down a bit at the beginning of Chapter 2, where we explore some more tender moments with the characters, so there's something to look forward to!

Art Progress:

More spellcasting sprite animations have been made for Cole and Artemi! 

Unfortunately, that last one with Artemi casting an aggressive spell probably won't make it into this update since the story hasn't reached that point yet. I also finished quite a few more expression sprites for the new characters.

Also! There are 5 planned illustrated scenes in this new update, including a lewd scene! 3 of those artworks are currently finished.

I've also finished 3D modeling the backgrounds for all the areas and rooms inside Clyde's fighting ring! 

Aaaand that about sums up all the progress I can show so far! I hope you all enjoy the new update when it comes out! If I were to hazard a guess, it'll probably be ready for release sometime next week?
