Voting is far from done, but this one is running ahead by a little. So IFF the prior poll ends up having Simple Aspect as the winner, what are your opinions on things?

Fire: He has fire. Normally you couldn't buy it again, but a very dedicated or obsessive Fire Mage could progress into the secrets of fire and gain more from it. Let's say this special award opens that up. (Possibly a can of worms I regret, but what the hell. Cheat with both hands is sort of the theme.  Double fire would push him toward visiting Muspelheim, Sailing the Seas of Flame, and push up the damage of his smoke/fire/heat abilities.

Ice: Opposed type of aspect, and would open up some simple spells if he can find them, and in the future, I'm sure there is some sort of complex stuff that fire/ice together open up. I'm not sure what I'd do with this, so more long term.

Acid: He has a small bit of heritage in this direction. Acid would open up some simple spells, but as we've seen they can mix horribly with fire. A bonus. This would make a fire+gasoline type of magic.  Earth: Earth includes rock, and can move towards metal. Simple spells, but he has some heritage in this direction.  Definitely heading to Muspelheim for the next Ragnarok.

Storm: Electrical types of spells as well as nasty weather. Not much synergy here, but something would happen.  Wind: Cyclones. Need I say more? Wind and Radiance also make smoke. Smoke+Smoke +?

Sea: Water. Mixes very poorly with fire and heat. Neutral to Radiance and Dark.  Poison: Clouds of poisonous smoke? Add poison to weapons? It's an odd choice for a butcher if you want to keep your customers.

Dark: Undead, Corruption, curses, hellfire. All the classic "dark magics". Would balance the radiance aspect he has, and give his little curse more oomph. Sliding towards fallen heritage with that.

Radiance: Like fire, this would be doubling up on the aspect of Radiance, and he might get dogpiled by angels and inquisitors. Blud Dark would burn in his mouth and it would make his recipes that use Dark Magic worse. Think of the bacon!

Wood: Because great barbeque and smoking starts with wood. Ties into what he learned in the smoke

Wind or wood would both work well with fire/smoke.

Wood should add some solid defensive type magic as well as healing types he could probbaly learn from the groves of trees.

Wood and wind are both very flavorful options. Wind because control of airflow is such an important part of a pitmaster's job (also, flying Ozzy!). And wood, because the fuel you use is a huge part of the final result, and I think vehicles would be in his future.

2023-03-18 00:08:04 Wood seems to cover most off Ozzy's weaknesses currently because he is not lacking in offensive ability's but lacks in active defense and it might share some similarities with earth. I am Curius on what the Earch element dose I think it might have something to do with Hermes

In Chinese Wu Xing, the Aspect or Phase Wood also encompasses Wind. According to the Wikipedia article: "In the regenerative cycle of the Wu Xing, water engenders Wood, "as rain or dew makes plant life flourish"; Wood begets fire as "fire is generated by rubbing together two pieces of wood" and it must be fueled by burning wood. Since wood also represents wind, it also nourishes fire with the flow of oxygen. In the conquest cycle: Wood overcomes earth by binding it together with the roots of trees and drawing sustenance from the soil; Metal overcomes Wood, as the metal axe can topple the largest trees.[3] In the less figurative sense, the dryness and coldness of Metal causes wood, trees and plants to dry and wither (like it happens during Autumn)."
