(CM1-0) A plan (Patreon)

A few last days I was out of energy and motivation to do something. Finally got some energy to work on something. There were a few options, and I picked to work on CM1. I want to do some environmental art stuff and it's a perfect place to do it.

The animations you see above are made in CA7 times and probably will not get into the final version, although they will work as a reference. I added environment screenshots to set a starting point in env. art.

Now to the plan! First of all, the workflow here will be somewhat different from usual. Instead of starting to create a block-out of animation right away, I'll create a few posters to set the mood of the animation and see how it will look.  This way I'll immediately know if it is worth continuing work on it or not. Thus I will get the finished environment right away. But something inside me is telling me that creating the environment and creating animation afterward is a bad idea. Well, we'll see.

Also, I learned from A11 and CA7, that sound is a REALLY big factor in quality of animation and should not be avoided despite being bad or misplaced. I will work on sounds in parallel with animation. One big problem right now, is a voice. Looking at how long this animation will be, the VA commission price will get above 200 USD price which is... a lot.

I have a script for it, but I will not share it for now, as it is not final and will change depending on animation requirements. The animation itself will be about Hoodwink searching for a book and accidentally finding a book on how to summon tentacles, which she immediately decides to try. Yep, tentacles again.

The next few WIPs will be about the environment, then poster and finally animation. 

For now I can surely say, it will be a LONG journey which will last for a year.
