Bloodseeker's Vengeance is a sinister-looking short bow with carvings of veins and arteries along its limbs.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Bloodforged Arrows: When you draw the string of Bloodseeker's Vengeance, you sacrifice 2 hit points to create a blood arrow. This arrow, when fired, deals 1d6 piercing damage and 1d6 necrotic damage on a successful hit. You can choose to sacrifice additional hit points, up to a maximum of 8, to enhance the power of the blood arrow. For every 2 hit points sacrificed, the arrow's necrotic damage increases by 1d6, to a maximum of 4d6 for 8 hit points sacrificed.

If creating a Bloodforged Arrow causes your hit points to drop to 0 you fall unconscious and the arrow fails to hit its target.

Upon hitting a creature with a blood arrow, you regain 1d6 hit points.

Additionally, when the blood arrow strikes a target, a pool of blood forms at the creature's feet. This pool creates difficult terrain in a 5-foot radius around the target until the start of your next turn, as the blood congeals and spreads. This effect can hinder the movement of both allies and enemies.

Curse of Macabre Attraction: The magic of the bow draws you closer to death's realm. You have vulnerability to necrotic damage and undead creatures are unnaturally drawn to you, often seeking you out in combat.

Curse of the Blood Reaper: The bow's insatiable appetite for blood becomes consuming. Whenever you roll a natural 20 with a blood arrow, you must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, you shoot another Bloodforged Arrow at its maximum power. If you have no enemy creature in range, you choose the nearest friendly creature as your target. This arrow does not grant any healing property. If creating this arrow causes your hit points to drop to 0, you fall unconscious.
