"Within the obsidian's darkness, the sentinel's eye watches, and fear becomes our shield."

This shield is made from obsidian and has an intimidating image of an eye on its surface.

While wielding this shield, you get +1 bonus to AC, in addition to the shield's normal bonus AC.

Sentinel's Ward. While wielding this shield, you can't be Frightened.

Obsidian Sentinel Set Bonus:

When both the Obsidian Sentinel Scimitar and the Obsidian Sentinel Shield are wielded and attuned to the same character, you gain the following abilities:

Sentinel's Mastery. Your critical hit threshold with the scimitar is increased to 19-20.

Dreadful Protector. As an action, you can channel the combined power of the scimitar and shield to create a wave of dread that emanates from you in a 15ft radius. Creatures within this area must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened for 1 minute. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
