Marcy at the Gates! We finally see Newtopia Chief Ranger of the Night Guard, nerd extraordinaire and all around cinnamon roll, Marcy Wu! You can make a guess who is my favorite character!

MARCYYYY!!!😭😭💖💖🥹🥹 We have been worried SICK about her this whole time and she’s been straight up chillinnn😂 I mean thank god honestly LOL! If any of these three girls needed to land on their feet in this super dangerous world then I’d go with Marcy, especially having now met her😅 I think she definitely drew the longest straw in this situation and I personally couldn’t be happier, protect this girl at all costs!!🌟 I love her energy so much, I can already tell she’s going to breathe even more life into this already beautiful family dynamic and I’m so excited!! She very clearly has grown a lot like she mentioned since arriving in Amphibia, I liked what she said about using her rp skills at Dungeons & Dragons (or whatever their version was called) to basically blag her way into a role of authority here in Piltover, I guess being a “nerd” ain’t so bad after all☺️ I love that she’s taken the time to study all of the life in Amphibia and has these brilliant work arounds for any deadly creatures or tough situations she’s faced with! That paired with the almost insane level of clumsiness makes her an absolute GEM💎 I love her character way too much for the amount of time I’ve actually spent with her so far!!!✨🤣 The reunion was sooo precious man, like Anne immediately tearing up made ME tear up and just the relief on both their faces to see each other againnn🥺✨ I’m seriously SO glad Anne found Marcy before Sasha did!! I think we talked about this in another episode actually, but now that I’ve got to know Marcy a bit, I can imagine she was just as easy for Sasha to manipulate as Anne was, unfortunately:( BECAUSE THEY’RE BOTH SUCH LOVELY KIND ANGELS💔 but yeah, her and Sash linking up first could’ve seriously spelled trouble I think! Sasha in her current state would’ve told some bangers half truths to paint herself as the good guy in that situation for sureeee. I wonder how long it’s actually gonna be before all three are back together? I hope Sasha has managed to see at least some of the errors of her ways in the meantime and the whole thing isn’t just super awkward when they eventually link back up😂 the funniest parts of this reaction were Marcy’s “Dun du’du’du’du’da DUNNN” *throws over decapitated ant head*, also your “POLLY PETUNIA!” when she said “dibs on the crossbow”🤣 Marcy immediately falling into that ant hole before she could even finish her sentence, plus the cape setting on fire over and over again was an amazing gag! It really reminded me of one of my favourite moments from the Simpsons where Homer gets his hand stuck in a toaster, it’s just so stupid and random but absolutely hilarious to me still to this day, I did try to write out the joke but it was so painfully unfunny and didn’t do it justice at all so I’m just gonna link it🤣🤣: https://youtu.be/P6NNU4wzuek?si=xPgspOnetGbiqtEO Also did you notice in that scene where Hop Pop was struggling to put his sweater on (that was such a beautiful line from him in that scene btw✨) in the very next scene he’s back wearing his clothes that got burned? I wonder if the last few minutes of this episode with them entering the gates and meeting the queen?? was originally meant to be the beginning of the next episode or something? Absolutely not an insult to the continuity side of things or anything!! I just find it more interesting honestly, I can only imagine last minute adjustments have to be made ALL THE TIME for airing in television and little details like that can easily be missed, we’re only human. I’d just love to know the story behind that now, if they kinda merged one part of another episode with this one. This show is genuinely amazing I have such a fun time with it week after week, I honestly don’t want it to ever end, even though that’s silly and the show would suck if it didn’t ever end😂🌟

LOL! Yeah Marcy has be doing just fine, thank goodness! She’s thriving 🥺❤️ Also omg I have to know if you meant to write “Piltover” as a joke or if it was a slip of the key board 🤣 They are quite similar, honestly I’m very relieved Anne found Marcy first, too. I think Sasha would have said anything and everything to get Marcy to come along for her toad- terror train ride. And with how clumsy Marcy can be, that would have been a disaster 😱😭 The contrast between Anne & Sasha’s reunion and Anne & Marcy’s reunion is interesting to dissect, too. Anne and Sasha’s squealing on the bridge shows that they have a lot of fun together as friends. It was more excitement than emotion. But Anne and Marcy clearly have a more intimate relationship- probably because they’re more similar at heart. Just my opinion though, of course! Marcy’s “Dun du’du’du’du’da DUNNN” *throws over decapitated ant head* had me CRACKING UP while editing. I was at the airport at the time and had to cover my hand over my mouth to keep from cackling! Oh my god dude thank you for linking that Simpson’s clip- I am slapping my hand on the counter laughing at that 🤣 I love when it gets stuck AGAIN, FAR AWAY from where he threw it off hahahaha That’s a good observation about Hop Pop’s change of clothes. I kind of feel like Amphibia does this A LOT. Like certain episodes feel out of place to me and I feel like I’ve missed something until it gets clarified 2 or 3 episodes later. Idk I’m also a space cadet though so I can never be sure if it’s the airing order or just my spacey brain 🙃

THAT WAS A TOTAL MISTAKE LOL🤣🤣 I think the other week you said that Walley’s kingdom reminded you of Piltover if I’m remembering right? I think that mixed with the fact that Arcane never truly left my mind after it ended brought that mistake on😂😭✨ they kinda are similar for sure!! OMG I FREAKING LOVE THAT about the difference between Anne & Sasha and Anne and Marcy’s reunions and didn’t catch onto that AT ALL until you just said!!!🔥🔥 That’s such a brilliant little detail and like you said speaks so perfectly to the different kind of relationships they have👏👏 BIGGEST props to you for that catch I found that so awesome just now! It’s also just what I absolutely love about watching stuff with friends, because you’re never gonna catch every intended detail on your own!🌟 I’m so glad you got as much joy out of that toaster scene as I have over the years🤣 that’s one of my favourite episodes of the show honestly! He later turns that toaster into a time machine completely on accident and what ensues is just hilarious😂

Ahaha! I figured if it wasn’t intentional, you’d get a kick out of having it pointed out 🤣 I totally did say that Wally’s hometown reminded me of Piltover, so it was probably on your mind extra because of that (this coming from someone who literally never stops thinking about Arcane 🙃) Thank you for the props on the reunion scenes. I appreciate that.. And this is why I love watching shows with you guys too! :’)
