Finally got around to watching this! (Started a new job this week, PLUS it’s my 4-year-old cousin’s birthday today). Anyway, great ending to the season! I’m glad MT (or… Lake, I guess I should call her now) got off the train, and I really liked the way she did it – She lowered her number (even though she didn’t have one) by using what made her unique (her reflectiveness) to her advantage, instead of letting it hold her back. Thus overcoming her weaknesses and getting off the train. It was nice seeing Jesse and Nate reconcile as well. It was great seeing One-One again! I really missed his lines and personalities. Seeing him get stuck in the loop at the end was funny. XD I will say, I felt bad for that old guy at the start. I mean, Lake just scared the crap out of him, out of nowhere, and then just casually tossed him out of the pod. XD This was a very good season! I really liked Both MT & Jesse’s character arcs, and even though he didn’t talk, I LOVED Alan Dracula! I think I liked Season 1 a little more, though that may be simply because the whole show was completely new to me during that season, and it had the whole intrigue and mystery of finding out what was going on, and how all of this worked, in addition to watching Tulip’s character journey. In Season 2, we more-or-less understand exactly what’s going on (though, we do still get some additional tidbits, like with the tapes here), and we’re just having fun seeing how Lake & Jesse get through it. It’s still really good, of course! Favourite Quotes: “This is where all the magic happens!” – Positive One “And by magic, I mean numerical algorithmic judgement.” – Negative One “Instead, I’m gonna guess what Atticus is doing right now! One: barking. Two: rolling over…” – Positive One “Three: He’s dead. A pile of dog bones on the side of a long-forgotten road.” – Negative One “Aaaaah! Aaah! Waaah- Sorry. Aaaaah!” – Lake “How can I expect someone to grow emotionally without some nice, juicy math?” – Positive One “Yeah, yeah, yeah. We don’t need to hear it, we just watched the hi-def version.” – Negative One “Waking a passenger is a whole process! It involves robots, and coding, and juice boxes…” – Positive One “But you have a number! Sooo…” – Positive One “So… we get our exits?” – Lake “…Yeah, sure, whatever.” – Negative One “I’m… uh…” – Lake “Uh… Dracula 2?” – Jesse

Whoops forgot to answer your questions! I thought the last two episodes were very suspenseful and extremely creative along with phenomenal storytelling. I'm glad they allowed M.T. to enter the real world as opposed to most cliché's of where the protagonist sacrifices themselves in order for the other character to make it out (good lookin out Alan Dracula!). Although I think season 1 is a little better since there were more scenes that made you feel; season 2 is still a fantastic season! I'm sure somebody may have already pointed it out but both Jessie and his little brother strike a strong resemblance to Marco.

This is such a great analysis of the finale! I didn't really look as deep as you did about Lake using her reflectiveness to her advantage. That's such a cool little development for her character. Great catch!
