Not gonna lie, as much as I enjoyed Mewni, I did kinda miss Earth, and all the characters we knew from there. It was great to see them again! Also, Marco has a little sister now! I couldn’t take my eyes off her, because she was just so adorable! (BTW, her hair grew in REALLY quickly, huh…) Also… I guess Star &amp; Tom are broken up now…? I mean, I think we all figured that was coming eventually. Still, I’m sure we’ll see Tom again before the end. Also, there’s Doop Doop… Normally, I would just write that off as a one-off joke character, but… the episode was named after him, so… I can’t help wondering if we’ll see him again. If I had one complaint with this episode, it’s that I found the running gag of everyone thinking Mariposa was Marco’s baby kind of annoying. It just felt forced to me, and it wasn’t funny. Aside from that though, I really enjoyed it. Favourite Quotes: “Where are they going, anyway?” – Globgor “I don’t know.” – Eclipsa “If I go outside, I’ll explode!” – Seahorse “Eeey, that my girl, eh! Strong like bull! Uh… frog. Bullfrog!” – Buff Frog “Oh, uh… you have to, uh… make a… doop doop?” – Tom “I already did! In here!” – Star “Sister?! I thought you were getting a brother!” – Star “For how much money these doctors charge, you’d think they would be much better at their jobs.” – Mr. Diaz ““Do”? Summers are all about relaxing and doing nothing.” – Marco “She told me all about the beauty of French architecture… and how to do sweet parkour off it!” – Jackie “I wasn’t sure if things were cool between us.” – Marco “Of course things are cool, bro. You just bought us tacos.” – Jackie “As boyfriends go, you were pretty… standard. But you always knew how to make me laugh.” – Jackie “Standard? You’re not just saying that?” – Marco

And with this, the many fissures that have propagated through the TomStar relationship have met up and created a failure point. Having been on the end of the "I need some time to figure things out," talk a few times myself, it almost never bodes well. I would definitely consider this a "soft breakup" for them as Star, when given the chance to go ANYWHERE in the entire multiverse, chose to go to the one place that makes her feel best, Earth and more specifically back in close contact with Marco. Its a great culmination of a lot of things like the knight shift where Marco's life long post was to be her friend, and she was absolutely shattered at the idea of him leaving, only getting back to her old self when he promises that they'd get to see each other all the time and he told her that their friendship was his "lifelong post." Really love the mirroring that this episode shows. Amish Electrician brought it up as well, but its EXTREMELY telling that after their respective relationships flamed out they sought the company and comfort of each other. As a final addendum to that first episode, I would like to direct your attention to her quote of "I can finally do whatever I want." It turns out what she wants seems to be staying close to Marco. Britta's tacos was probably one of the best filler episodes in the entire show. It's like a cold drink on a hot day to just sit back and relax with an episode that basically gives us a status update on all the minor and secondary characters from the first couple of seasons. Starfan13 still creepin, Ferg and Alfonzo still boring and vanilla beyond all reason, and of course who can forget Jackie. She's literally the coolest character in the entire show and it's great seeing her find someone that makes her happy. And of course, she's a hardcore Starco cheerleader just like Eclipsa, reminding Marco not to "mess it up," because I'm sure she read correctly why Star came back to Earth.
