From what I remember all members of high magic commissions were created by Glosaryk, so they are his children in a way. And for Eclipsa, yes, she is not a very good queen. It is noticeable that she does not give her full attention to her role. But I think this can hardly be held against her, she never asked to be queen again. Expressed no desire to do so. It was Star that forced her hand by giving back the wand. Unnecessarily so, 300 years is enough to legitimize Festivia- ..... - Moon - Star ruling dynasty, no matter what were circumstances of it geting the throne. There was no good reson to return crown to Eclipsa. Eclipsa does not want to rule, she want her family back, which is perfectly reasonable.

It’s kind of interesting that neither Star nor Eclipsa wanted the throne. I can just picture them doing hot potato with the wand 🤣
