Familiar Taste Concept Pages (Patreon)

One last tidbit in regards to old Familiar Taste concepts, these are the first 2 pages that I mapped out the same day I made their first reference sheet! I originally thought I lost these, but thankfully they were just misplaced on an unused hard drive.

These pages were my first attempt at getting the story on paper, and as you can see the pacing in these 2 first pages are WAY different than the final version. There are many scenarios from this draft that are present in the final, just completely reworked. I felt as if these panels were too stiff, and not as expressive as I wanted them to be. I also decided to remove the "5 years later" bit in the beginning, as I thought having it in felt unnecessary. (The time skip is reimplemented later in the comic, and flows a bit more naturally than a big ol "5 years later" sign).
