I think it's a less-is-more situation? The more lines you use the more textured something feels. Like when you put one too many lines on a face and it goes from being youthful to feeling aged and creased. I'm trying to describe the volume and weight of the balls by showing the skin kinda stretching but not putting many lines on the balls themselves except for the outer shape so they can seem kinda bright and soft if that makes sense? Your silly question actually has a very dry and technical answer lol 😅
