Happy weekend (almost) everyone! These are some drawings that came out of the past couple of days. I'm very attracted to this notion of a candy colored sword and sorcery world care of 1970 and I'm playing with that in these first two sketches. It's really just the Farrah Fawcett hairstyles combined with the typical 1970s fantasy garb and cute faces that I think is a fun combo. Something to keep exploring :)

I had a third fantasy lady but frustratingly a CSP/Dropbox disagreement led to it being lost so to deal with I took a photo ref I had sitting around and expanded it in this little green/pink drawing.

I am continuing to keep up on the daily Gibson Girl time which has made for good, if tiny progress :) It does feel good to give myself a entirely different target for my work on that comic.

I'm looking forward to having larger blocks of time which are good for completing pages this next week so for now I've been mostly focusing on making adjustments and tidying up older pages so they're more consistent. Things like cleaning up the intersections of panel borders and  other little details.

A candy colored sword and sorcery sounds awesome, like Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder Version) meets Conan the Barbarian. For sure this needs to be explored!

Ohhh now I'm just imagining the kind of gaudy colors that would come out of that 🤤
