Libby x Gibson style + Sketch pages + Conan/Isabelle timelapses (Patreon)

I've been sitting on drawings for too long, as well as the timelapses from those Sword and Sorcery drawings from earlier in the month, so I've attached those here!

I've been a little more sporadic than I would like on the sketchbook front, just because I've been trying to focus on not letting the comic take up another month. These are some of the relaxation doodles I've been doing lately. Playing with different body proportions and some stylization as well as returning to the soft rendering style i was playing with when I initially started doing Libby drawings at the beginning of the year.

The Gibson style feels pretty natural at this point. I've spent around 45 tracked hours working on the comic so far between all the writing, drawing, research, text layout, etc. I can't exactly predict where it will end up ultimately, time-wise but I feel pretty well familiarized with using all that hatching and that means that I'm more relaxed when I do it too, which means I don't tense up my drawing arm. 

When I've done really intensely detailed work in the past that tension, which leads to physical fatigue and pain really saps my energy to work on something. Luckily the more relaxed I've gotten, the easier it is to do the work.The first couple pages were really hard but now it's much easier and I look forward to going back and fixing those first ones.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna redraw the whole thing 😂 just addressing some things I know I can handle better throughout now that I have more experience with the style.
