Frazetta-Esque (Patreon)

Drawing some Frazetta girls was the last thing from the November poll I hadn't gotten to, and I hadn't really known how to approach it initially. I'm a big Frazetta fan, of course, he was probably my second biggest influence going into sophomore year of art school, right next to Gil Elvgren.

He's got this goofy series of pinups with little giant sized women next to little gnomes or something, and I always enjoy the challenge of drawing size difference and making it still feel physical and weighty. I don't know if this really qualifies as Frazetta fanart, but it certainly is inspired by his work.

Maybe I'll keep drawing some gender bent Conan the Barbarian or something next, but this gnome/ Liliputian thing is pretty fun!
