I've started making prototypes of the zines! Some definitely print better than others with my printer. I think I mostly just need to acquire some heavier weight paper that would ripple so much when there's a lot of coverage of black ink like with Mile Hylian Club and Jessica, or even Poppy & Oak to some degree.

Hopefully I can get some of this stuff together! Of course I'll be letting all of you know when they're available before the internet at large so you can have first dibs! :)

I'm going to have to fight with myself a bit to make them cheap to produce but still feel nice in the hand. I know the print quality of an inkjet printer is meh at times, but I at least want it to be on some sturdy paper!

Thanks for your support! I am going to be putting up a fanart poll as well as the next hiker comic poll probably tomorrow! Thanks for your patience, I've been mostly focused on the Poppy & Oak cover this week!

Have you looked at what it would cost to get a book of your work printed professionally? I know it feels like it would be cheaper to print them yourself, but inkjet ink is kinda expensive. And assembly is time consuming. Personally, for the quality of your work, I'd rather pay a little more or wait a little longer and have it in a higher quality printing. Maybe do a Kickstarter?

It's a fair point! I've been wanting to invest in a laserjet for a while and I'm hoping a small run of inkjet prints can fund my way to the capability for high quality prints that I can do from my studio. I would like to have a bit more content together before doing a hard cover book through Kickstarter but certainly someday I'll be going that route!

Honestly, I'm kinda digging the home-printed inkjet aesthetic. Feels very indie! Looking forward to seeing the final results

Whatever it is I would 1000% go for physical. Your art is especially conducive towards it!

Thank you Tracy and Grace! <3 I hope to include some extras to make them feel extra indie-special, since you're all my guinea pigs for this project :)
