Happy Monday everyone! Here's a little sneak peak on how this stuff goes, I'm going to be cramming updates today/tomorrow since that's just how my schedule worked out this month.

Like a lot of folks my comics start with thumbnails. Thee whole goal is to make things as visually coherent as they need to be so I can start to wrap my mind around the progression of the story. I keep them super rough so I can try/throw out a lot of ideas quickly.

This time I even made them out of order with a mind to reorganize them in a way that makes sense -- see above. I'm trying to switch back and forth between wide Dulac type compositions and closer, denser, wide Bilibin compositions, just for fun! :)

I also did a couple of sketches of the environment to help get a better sense for the geometry of the setting the characters are in. My mind works in a very 3D kinda of way so it helps me to know how I'm turning things around in space as I'm drawing.

More coming soon!

This is cool! I haven't seen many thumbnail pages with the geometry mapping stuff on them.
