I'm going to go ahead and assume we're all having a crazy month. I spent most of last week being sick with a nasty cold (don't worry, not COVID-19) but I'm finally starting to feel like myself again so I wanted to make a post about the Zelbosa comic!

I've always been really inspired the artists Ivan Bilibin and Edmund Dulac. They both were illustrating during the first half of the 20th century, and tended to illustrate folktales, and Dulac is known for his Arabian Nights illustrations (very thematically appropriate for the Gerudo).

I want to make good on my monthly, commitment to at least provide you with a pinup by the end of the month, plus some comic pages in b/w and I'm going to work hard this week to make sure I fulfill that.

I'll try to plan the pinup so it can also become cover art and I will do some process posts about picking apart the sty,les of Dulac and Bilibin and how/why they work and feel the way they do because they both have particular compositional styles I'd love to imitate but in porn (especially because these ladies have SO MUCH HAIR and it's going to be fun to draw).

Would anyone feel cheated if this comic extended into next month so I can make it more than a few pages? I don't think it's realistic for me to attempt to make a comic in one month while I'm doing other freelance on the side, so I could do a few pages before the end of the week, but nothing as long as Heatseeker or Spicy Elixir. Let me know!

Thank you all for your patience and support, especially during these turbulent times. I hope that my work can at least be an a bit of a horny oasis for you :)

Cheers,

Winton

I am absolutely fine with waiting for it until next month! We're all going through a lot of changes

By all means, take the time you need. I'd say it's better for us when you have the room to make the best finished product you can.

Thanks you Gulaghar, I always want to be as up front as possible with you all so you're not in the dark or feeling taken advantage of

I enjoy seeing the progress steps of your work. Enlightening for my beginning steps in learning how to draw.

I'm glad to hear that as I think I'll be getting a lot nerdier about the process in the future. Good luck to you in beginning your drawing journey! It takes a lot of patience but it's very fulfilling and fun if you can enjoy the process of learning.

Dulac and Bilibin are two of my favorite illustrators! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with, and take all the time you need.

I'd much rather you took the time you want to take and work to your own creative rhythm instead of forcing yourself into a box. I love Bilibin's work too!

I like where this is going. Looking forward to seeing more.
