Daisy of the Desert - Rey (Patreon)

Here's the first "final" Rey drawing for the end of this Star Wars month. Even after a month or so of drawing Rey, over and over, I still couldn't get enough of her and had to do a final hurrah for the comic. Not forever, I will be drawing her again, but this is a finale of sorts for the comic.

Now as a bonus behind the scenes for you patrons, I wanted to share the source of inspiration for this piece. Daisy Ridley has two older sisters, one of them, Kika-Rose, is a model. Last week I found a tumblr devoted to her and found this album and this fun pose, and I thought it'd work well for Rey. That's not...weird, is it?

Here's the first rough sketch. Those life drawings for class has done me some good.

The image was flipped to set the drawing apart from the photo, and a few details relevant to Rey/Daisy were added.
