Welcome to October, the second Doctor Who themed month for the year, with the new series fast approaching. This month you can expect pieces featuring the New Doctor, companions, and companions of old, from pinups to vanilla to something with a bit of aliens. Later this week will see the beginning of the Qi'ra comic, clumsily titled Crimson Porn, and over the next few days, the final remaining pieces from Star Wars month, the last Catwoman picture, and the winners of last month will be coloured.

This month will again have a request lottery, the reasons why I'll explain in a sec, and this is again open to everyone but the winners of last month, MoisturePlusHandwashWithVitaminE, Colleen, and Hugh Burke, out of interest of fairness. There will again be three winners, one voted on by you all, one randomly selected, and one personally chosen by me. These can feature one character or more. Requests will return to normal next month, with a few quick competitions coming this month, one of these tomorrow.

Requests are still low because of university. Since the beginning of the year, I've been studying an art degree and have had to travel close to an hour from the country to the city, and then back. In the last month, the university decided its arts courses and students didn't matter, and essentially axed several of the courses and combined it all together. This mostly affected those studying performing arts, meaning that if they wanted the education they signed up for, they would have to travel interstate, but me and the other art students have had things made a bit more complicated than they need to be. Thankfully, the theory is kind of easy but it's good I've managed to juggle that, this work, and the few social obligations I've had.
