I got mega lucky a few days ago. I follow a local poultry page on facebook, and saw that a turkey breeder near me had a HUGE bag of feathers for sale, for $30. Lucky I was the first person to see.  The feathers had been collected from her pens over the year. 

There are over 100 large feathers in the bag, it's pretty huge. And some of the feathers are GORGEOUS. I want to try and integrate the metallic ones into my gryphon head, maybe give her a sort of crest. What colours do you think would go well with the metallic/stripey ones?

I looked up what it would cost for me to buy large turkey feathers individually, and they go for about $3-4 each! I hope the breeder doesn't find out haha.
