Beak painted (Patreon)

Excited to get the beak all painted today. Really hard to take pics of. I’ll be covering it all in epoxy over the weekend to give it a super durable finish.

Originally I had the transition between the dark purple/grey and the light as a very solid/blocky transition. It looked too artificial so I added just a tiny bit of airbrushing between the transitions to soften it a little. Also added a very subtle gradient to the tip of the beak just for some flair (I think it breaks the solid colour up a bit).

Hopefully the epoxy costs it all without issue or I have a lot of work to redo 😂. Excited to see such a key component come near completion.
