Patches and saddlebags (Patreon)

So in the excitement of 'finishing' Gabby I totally forgot that she needed saddlebags with her cutiemark on them. Whipped them up today using my favourite faux leather substitute (buttersuede). This is the same stuff I made plush Ratchet's boots from, and what I'll be using for cosplay Ratchet's boots. 

The saddlebags have hand sewn hooks and eyes on the inside so that they can fasten together, or be opened to put little treasures inside. 

Her cutiemarks are still drying (that's why they have a dark halo seeping in from the fray stopper). I still haven't perfected stand-alone embroidered patches, but these came out quite nicely. I used 4 layers of wash away, thick stabiliser. I'll need to perfect this technique for making the alicorn OC coming up, so will definitely be playing around with it a bit more.
