This got me in all the feels at the end, such a beautiful moment and it really helped me realize again, what this all is about.

It makes me so happy that they took that lesson of giving back all the way into the present. They’re such incredible people!! Can I also just say that air field boss was such an a-hole!! You know you’re a jerk when Jimin doesn’t like you.

Jungkook donated 1 BILLION WON (ca 758K USD) to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital on the 14th April, 2023. I think they surely learned a lot from this.

I felt so bad for Jk and Jimin in this episode. They definitely got the short straw.

Another one that had such awkward moments and also some amazing moments! Also, bomb pops are legit the best treat 😋

Christmas project. I vote yes on a video mentioning some of the many ways people can help. Salvation Army has pick a child or family. Friends could go in together to help. Sometimes the child wants a size () winter jacket. That could run up to $100 I’m guessing. Get 5-10 friends to go in on it and it’s a painless way to make a difference. Check with a local Shelter and maybe help provide a meal or a new pillow case. As you have done, place basic essentials into a bag - like cleansing pads, a sandwich, some fruit, a can of juice, other snacks to pass out randomly to people living on the street. Socks and gloves are always appreciated. I know there are opportunities in every community.

My all time go to ice cream is an orangesickle. Vanilla ice cream inside a shell of orange.

This may not be nice to say, but I hope those people who were such D’s to the boys here have seen this and also how successful they became, the dude at the airport and his kid were just ignorant, they didn’t have to be, again maybe I’m looking at it wrong, but these guys are from S Korea, it’s a different culture, they got to see things they’ve never seen before, like the helicopter/airplanes, they don’t speak our language so that dude at the airport didn’t have to treat them they way he did, like ok get out, how rude, he could have just said, ok that’s it guys ride over, or actually given them a little bit more or a ride, I get fuel & wear and tear on parts are expensive, but still, dude chill out, his kid was like he was self untitled , in SK hierarchy is a big thing, so for a 14 yr old to be bossing Jimin who was 18 around really did get to Jimin, & even JK being 16, but look who has the last laugh kid, sorry that’s mean, but my momma bear protect our boys mode is always on alert, I know the boys learned to be so respectful and I believe going to skid row did stay with them and that is also why they are they way they are today, always giving back to Army, one thing did just cross my mind, knowing how HYBE is, the whole kidnapping thing, I’m sure these people were told to be hard on the guys for dramatic purposes, shock Value, we know how. Bang is, but still I don’t think the boys were ever aware of it, so to them it was real. I just think some of it was over the top, but all in all things turned out really good.

From what I heard and seen the kid in the video a few years later said that he was told by the staff to nag them a lot especially Jimin . I think the staff knew jimin doesn't take lightly younger people telling him what to do or being disrespectful more then the others do, except suga he is the same way so I think its partly the staffs fault here. Also the guy over acted so you know im sure the staff again kinded had a hand in things not that excuses things but its not all on them. But yeah they for sure should of dialed it down a bit .

I've enjoyed rewatching this series with you. I'm looking forward to the next series. The folks RM & Suga encountered in their job were just kinder than the ones the other guys worked for. It may have been that they were all immigrants. It was nice seeing them being given a meal, too. I fast forwarded through the other two encounters as I found them "cringy" when I first saw them. In subsequent interviews, Tony said Suga was serious about basketball (Suga immediately told them that the net was the elementary school height, not regulation) and he had to really step up his game...being so tall was a definite advantage...so much fun watching them. My favorite part is when they went to Skid Row. It gave them an opportunity to give back (which they continue to do) as well as listen to folks who were homeless. I think they learned a lot from that ... even if they don't have exact memories now, they probably still have the memory stored of what it felt like.

That is awesome your work with the homeless. Let us know if you do a charity family for Christmas. Army loves to help people! Also you might like a show BTS was on a long time ago. They helped a poor grandma out by decorating and winter proofing her house. It’s a very touching episode and it made me Tear up a bit. It’s only 5-10 minutes long but it’s worth watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkF5PdThBAQ&t=2s. The first part is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvtEKpPYevE ㅡ for some reason it doesn’t have sub titles but you can figure out what is going on.

The things we think of as small kindness can be huge in someone’s life. I’ve done many charity outreach, help events with groups I’ve been involved with. If you do it with an open heart, you really hope you’re helping someone then you’ll be able to feel their appreciation. If you do it to check box an activity you’re gonna miss out. I’m going to share a story, it’s only meant to show how kindness starts in your heart. I worked for an engineering firm that participated in a local charity’s Angel Tree project every year. One year the charity approached our employees coordinating the donations and asked if our firm would please do the Angel Tree for a blended family that was the parents plus 9 kids. There were a lot of needs, the charity was afraid someone in the family would be left out. We embraced it and said yes. The parents asked for practical things. The kids ranged in age from 17 to 3. The oldest boy asked for a Starter brand jacket. That was all he wanted. At that time in the early 90’s that was a status symbol for HS kids to wear starter jackets. A coworker pulled his name and checked with a local mall store about buying the boy a jacket. They were expensive. The store agreed to offer a discount on a “last year” style still in inventory because it was a larger size. $250. Discounted. But it only took 10 of us to make contributions to buy the jacket. It was his only gift request. It was reported back to all of us that participated, which was nearly everyone in our 60 person office, that when the family opened their gifts they all cried but the 17 yo boy was overwhelmed that his one gift request was given by strangers. It didn’t cost any of us that much, what basically amounted to the cost of a couple of fast food meals. But pooled together our efforts meant something significant in at least one person’s life. John, I like your idea of giving back to your community in a way that helps someone at a time of year that can be overwhelming when you gave so little to celebrate. I’m happy to contribute if you organize something.

Nature Girl

I want to add that there were a couple of people in the company who voiced they thought it was arrogant for a “poor” kid to be requesting such an expensive item. I remember feeling dumbstruck that anyone could be so insensitive.

They always donate to charities as a group but Suga has always tried to give back, first it was small gifts to the Armys that went to their fansigns like chocolates and snacks with a handwritten note from him, he did this I think 2 years only for his birthday, instead of receiving presents he gave them. He also donated meat to an orphanage (or several, I can't remember exactly) and Jimin also did something similar but with books and other school equipment for a school.
