Welcome to our ’Reviews’ collection.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are so delighted to start our 2024 with a very special review. Last year, Kay purchased a themed set for the first time ever. Focused on one of her favourite TV shows, will the anticipation be realised? Lets find out.

So join Kay as she:

  • Takes a close look at a Gilmore Girls project bag and yarn set purchased from ‘A Homespun House’
  • Shows you the bag in detail and talks you through what she likes ands what she doesn’t like about it
  • Has a look at the yarn and talks you through her thoughts straight off the shelf

Same here, more than once unfortunately. I've ordered specific colorways and the name on the label isn't what I ordered but personally I don't care what a yarn is called, I just buy for color. But that kind of lack to attention to detail drives me nuts. Years ago, I saw an interview of her with another knitter and Molly said when she has a colorway that doesn't sell, she'll just give it a new name and people will buy. I get that you have to move merchandise, but something about that just rubbed me the wrong way. So it feels to me like that Polly Pocket yarn was something she had to get rid of and they forgot to re-label it. Disappointing. But also, crazy expensive! I haven't bought from HH in a few years.
