Welcome to our ’Sock Tutorials'

When we're knitting socks we sometimes love to add a 'Dutch' heel turn. This creates an attractive square motif on the underside of the sock which is super comfortable. Sometimes though these turns can look a little untidy. In todays tutorial special, Kay shares with you her special tips for neatening up those square turns.

Join Kay as she:

  • Shows you what a square heel turn looks like
  • Points out some of the challenges faced when trying to make this heel turn look perfect
  • Shows you what her modified and perfected heel turn looks like
  • Demonstrates how to knit a nearly perfect square heel turn
